Meet Shambi Imari Broome, a dynamic figure in the tech world and two-time founder, web developer, STEM educator, and advocate.
Shambi offers consultations for startups, small businesses, and nonprofits, helping them thrive in the digital world.
But there's more to Shambi than her professional achievements.
She's also a devoted mother and cancer survivor. After a challenging diagnosis of colon cancer in December 2022, she underwent successful surgery and chemotherapy, and is in surveillance by her amazing oncology team. To spread awareness and bring some positivity to her journey, Shambi shared her chemotherapy sessions on social media, dubbing it the "Catch Me at Chemo Tour" and keeps her followers up-to-date with her "Chemo After Party."
With a passion for technology, writing, and art, Shambi's impact extends beyond her professional endeavors. From founding the nonprofit Webgyrlz Code to presenting TEDx Talks and speaking at WordCamp US 2023, she advocates for computer science education and is dedicated to empowering others.
